Michelle Just has over 20 years of experience in aging services, long-term care and continuing care retirement community management. Recognized nationally as a leader in service and advocacy for older adults and an innovator in the field of aging services, Just is transforming how to best serve older adults by focusing on issues central to their quality of life and by meeting their changing needs and preferences. Just currently serves as president and chief executive officer for Beatitudes Campus in Phoenix, Arizona. As CEO, Just provides leadership across the continuing care retirement community and the wide spectrum of services for older people, including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory support, and home care services. She guides the campus vision to be a center of excellence and a leader in the field of aging services. Just holds leadership roles in advocacy groups for not-for-profit retirement communities, health care facilities and the residents they serve. For Arizona LeadingAge, she is president-elect of the Board of Directors and chair of the Policy and Governmental Affairs Committee and is a mentor for the Leadership Academy, having served as president previously. She is past president of the Alumni Network of the LeadingAge National Leadership Academy. Just is also a member of the Board of Directors for Covenant Health Network. Just is a member of the Board of Directors for the Council of Health and Human Services of the United Church of Christ. Just also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. She was a board member for the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Just is a frequent speaker on issues relating to aging and is an advocate for older adults and their rapidly changing needs. Just received the ATHENA award in 2017 for her leadership in the public sector. She received her bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from Metropolitan State College of Denver. She is a Fellow of the LeadingAge Leadership Academy.
