Harmony Duport has a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, a Minor in Chemistry, and a Certificate in Forensic Identification from California State University, Chico. Harmony started her Public Health career in 2004 when she obtained her registration as a Sanitarian and began working for Maricopa County Environmental Services as a Health Inspector. In January 2007, she moved over to the Arizona Department of Health Services and held several positions within the Bureau of Epidemiology and Disease Control until she joined the Division of Licensing and became the Bureau Chief for the Bureau of Residential Facilities Licensing in April 2017. She and her team are responsible for licensing and regulating approximately 3,000 residential health care institutions throughout the State and are all deeply passionate about their role in promoting, protecting, and improving the health and wellness of individuals and communities in Arizona.
