Speaker Bio: WILLIAM (BILL) TAIT
Bill has over 40 years of operational planning, training, and exercise experience, with close to 17 of those years as a sought-after consultant. He has been responsible for developing joint disaster response plans for the United Nations and Canada, conducting WMD, anti-terrorism and disaster preparedness exercises for the cities and counties of Arizona, as well as the United States Marine Corps in Yuma. During his career, Bill has served as the Training Coordinator for the Arizona Division of Emergency Management, Director of Emergency Management and Homeland Security for Yuma County and the Arizona Department of Transportation, and Emergency Operations Manager for the United States Marine Corps in Yuma. Bill is a certified Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defense Officer, and he has extensive emergency management and incident command training from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the US Marine Corps, US Army, and US Navy.
