Julie Boggess is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (1990).  She has spent 30 years working in nursing home operations in both front line and leadership positions. As the Director of Grants and Consulting Projects for AGE-u-cate, Julie calls upon her deep experience in aging services and dementia care to develop and deliver training and educational programs for aging services professionals. Julie also teaches courses in Aging Services and Leadership at Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois. Julie received her Master’s degree in Public Healthcare Administration from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois, and her Bachelor’s degree in Child and Families Studies from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.
