The COVID-19 pandemic was the ultimate test of infection control practice within the healthcare industry. To face this test, strong infection control programs and processes became essential in stopping the spread of COVID-19. In this session, attendees will learn about infection control best practices from the pandemic. We will be discussing infection control recommendations in daily operations expanding from COVID-19 to working with residents diagnosed with HIV, Tuberculosis, and Hepatitis, among others.
